Derived from Wang Wei's poem, the tea room area, named "Matsuzaka," along with the fitness area and party house, are designed to create a poetic and natural atmosphere. The mansion's unique features lie in its superior location and the designer's ability to use design language to interpret visual, tactile, and spiritual resonance.
The mansion's realization is a blend of rough black stone skin and exquisite titanium plated stainless steel, showcasing the diversity of materials and the elegance of urban literati. Covering a total of 650 square meters, the design adheres to the golden rule of "less is more," creating a natural and comfortable space atmosphere.
The design process was not without its challenges. The meditation area, for instance, was designed to highlight the virtual reality and mobility of space. The white tone base, invisible separation of functional layout, and the water ripples carved on the marble are a testament to the delicate and implicit nature of Oriental people.
Yang Yuan's design philosophy is evident in the entire space. It reflects his thoughts on the relationship between humans and space, and his pursuit of relaxed and natural comfort in calm and restraint. The overlapped white lacquer line and marble art wall are a tribute to the design elements of the International Master of architecture Scarpa, combined with Chinese ancient painting.
The Jinzhong Kylin Mansion is not only a marvel of interior design but also a winner of the prestigious Golden A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2020. This award is granted to outstanding creations that reflect the designer's prodigy and wisdom, embodying extraordinary excellence and significantly impacting the world with their desirable characteristics.
